Extra Curricular Clubs
At St Michael’s, we offer a wonderful variety of after-school clubs designed to do more than just keep children busy; they provide unique opportunities for pupils to explore their interests, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships in a fun and supportive environment.
Forest School Club takes place in our enchanting nature garden, where children immerse themselves in the beauty of the outdoors. Through hands-on experiences like den building, bug hunting, and learning how to use tools safely, pupils develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.
For those who love creativity and construction, Lego Club is the perfect choice. Children collaborate to create incredible models, enhancing problem-solving skills and teamwork in a safe, imaginative space.
Our Clay Model Club gives budding artists the chance to express themselves. Working with clay is therapeutic, improves fine motor skills, and allows creativity to shine.
We also offer a range of exciting sports clubs, including Netball, Cricket, Football, and Judo. These activities promote fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. For Year 5 and 6, our Cross Country Club makes the most of our local woods, encouraging children to enjoy outdoor running and even compete in cross-country events.
If music is your child’s passion, our Choir provides the perfect outlet for singing and performing. It builds confidence and vocal skills, with opportunities to perform for an audience.
We encourage families to discuss these clubs with their children and help them choose activities that spark their interest. After-school clubs are a fantastic way to explore new hobbies, develop talents, and grow in confidence. There truly is something for everyone, and we can’t wait to see our pupils thrive in these enriching experiences!
