Early Years - Pre school & Reception

Welcome to

Pre-School and Reception

At St Michael's our Early Years consists of a Reception class and a school-run pre-school. Miss Kiera Thomas (Early Years Leader), Miss Rebecca Barnes (Reception class teacher) and Miss Lorna Stewart (Play Leader) are supported by a team of Early Years Practitioners, Teaching Assistants, and a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

  • Tiny Happy People Help develop your child's communication skills. Explore simple activities and play ideas and find out about their amazing early development.
  • Top Marks Maths resources, can also be used higher up school
  • Oxford Owl Stories as well as maths games, can also be used for higher up school

  • The Numtums Join in with the Numtums and learn about numbers from 1 to 10.
  • Alphablocks Play along with the Alphablocks and have fun with the letters of the alphabet.
  • Spread the Happiness Inspiration, ideas and happiness tips with teacher, author and happiness expert, Shonette Bason
