Anti-bullying

Bullying

Bullying clearly effects our well-being and can happen to anyone, anywhere. If you or someone you know is being bullied, you are not alone. Although we participate in Anti-Bullying Week each year, it is imperative this work is continued and embedded throughout the year though.

Bullying includes:

  • People calling you names
  • Making things up to get you into trouble
  • Hitting, pinching, biting, pushing and shoving
  • Stealing from you
  • Damaging your belongings on purpose
  • Taking your friends away from you
  • Spreading rumours
  • People threatening you, or being intimidating
  • Cyber bullying – anything that is online such as Facebook or Email

Our E-safety and Well-being page have lots of links to support and resources outside of school. Please also see the links below to The Anti-Bullying Alliance and Kidscape external pages.

If you are worried about a child please, please speak to a member of staff as soon as possible so we are able to help and support.

Our Positive Relationships and E-Safety Policies also cover Anti-Bullying and are available on the Policies page, please see the link below.
